What ingredients do you avoid when making a lip balm?

We’re picky about what goes into our Lip Balms (and all our products) because they’re made for family and friends, not just customers. That means no petroleum-derived Paraffin or Mineral Oil, common in most commercial lip balms, because putting what you’d find in your car on your lips just doesn’t feel right, especially when it eventually gets ingested.

We also steer clear of synthetic preservatives like Parabens and Phenoxyethanol, which you’ll still see in many so-called “natural” brands. And that’s just the start! We avoid plenty of other nasties, too many to name here. The result? Lip Balms that are safe, nourishing and genuinely good for you.

Are these lip balms natural?

Yes! All MooGoo Lip Balms are made with natural, edible ingredients. No petroleum-based nasties, synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals - just nourishing oils that really hydrate your lips.

The Strawberry Tinted Lip Balm provides a subtle natural pinky-red tint, perfect for a little everyday colour. The others are clear.
