Meet Our Dentist, Dr Vanessa Ribas

Hi, I'm Dr Vanessa Ribas - a holistic dentist based in New South Wales. 

With over 25 years of experience in Dentistry, I’ve explored a wide range of oral care products, from traditional formulations to more natural alternatives. As my approach has evolved toward a more holistic and integrative model, so too has my interest in ingredients that support oral health in a gentle, biologically aligned way.

In that context, I’ve chosen to collaborate with MooGoo, a brand whose philosophy aligns with my interest in simple, thoughtfully formulated products and a more natural approach to personal care.

In the past, natural oral care products were often limited to being Fluoride-free without offering meaningful support for enamel remineralisation, which made transitioning away from conventional options more challenging. Today, ingredients such as Hydroxyapatite have gained attention for their ability to support enamel by helping to replenish lost minerals and maintain surface integrity.

The MooGoo Mouthwash

As a dental professional, I’m mindful of how oral care products influence the natural balance of the oral microbiome. While many conventional mouth rinses rely on stronger antiseptic agents that broadly reduce bacteria, there is growing awareness that this approach may also affect beneficial oral flora.

The MooGoo Moothwash provides a more balanced alternative. It contains Xylitol, which is non-fermentable by cariogenic bacteria, along with plant-derived ingredients such as Spearmint and Peppermint Oils that offer a mild, refreshing effect with gentle antimicrobial properties.
