We created Moothpaste for families who wanted an alternative to Fluoride but didn’t want to compromise on results. It took years to perfect and was developed alongside dental professionals and real customers who were searching for a way to support strong, healthy teeth without Fluoride.

For those with extra sensitive teeth, we added Arginine to our original base formula. Arginine helps physically seal tiny gaps in teeth, preventing those zings from hot and cold.

Instead of Fluoride, we use Hydroxyapatite and Theobromine to remineralise teeth, strengthen enamel and reduce sensitivity. They help fill in tiny surface cracks and scratches, making it harder for bacteria to settle in and kick-start decay.

We’ve also included Xylitol to help prevent plaque and bacteria from sticking to teeth, plus Stevia Leaf Extract for a gentle sweetness without added sugar. The result is a light, refreshing peppermint toothpaste that feels clean, tastes great and gives you confidence every time you brush.

Squeeze Moothpaste onto your toothbrush, or just a tiny smear for kids under 6. Hold your brush at a 45° angle toward your gums and brush gently in small circles to clean teeth and gums without scrubbing too hard. Spend about two minutes brushing.

After brushing, spit out the toothpaste but don’t rinse right away, so the minerals can keep working to strengthen and protect your teeth. Wait 20-30 minutes before eating or drinking for the best results. Brush twice daily and replace your toothbrush every three months or when the bristles start to fray.

As with all natural products, patch test for allergies before use. Store below 30˚C.

How does Sensitive Moothpaste help with tooth sensitivity?

Tooth sensitivity happens when exposed dentinal tubules (tiny channels leading to the nerve) let fluid movement trigger pain. Our three key ingredients tackle this from different angles: blocking the pathway (Arginine), rebuilding enamel (Nano Hydroxyapatite) and neutralising the acid that causes damage in the first place (Theobromine).

Why does the Sensitive Moothpaste contain Nano Hydroxyapatite?

If you've done some research into cleaner, more natural dental care, then you've probably seen both "Hydroxyapatite" and "Nano Hydroxyapatite". They're the same mineral but the particle size is different - Nano Hydroxyapatite is better for those with sensitivity, which is why we use Nano in our Sensitive Moothpaste formula.

Sensitivity comes from exposed dentinal tubules. When they're open, temperature changes and pressure cause fluid movement inside them, which the nerve reads as pain.

• Non-nano particles are simply too large to enter these channels. They can deposit a helpful mineral layer on the outside of the tooth, but they can't physically plug the tubule opening where the problem originates.
• Nano particles are small enough to travel into the tubule itself and occlude it from within. This helps block the fluid movement that causes pain, not just coating over it.

What is Hydroxyapatite and Theobromine, and why do you use them?

Hydroxyapatite is the main mineral that makes up your tooth enamel. In other words, it’s not foreign to your body, it’s already part of your teeth. Theobromine is naturally derived from the cocoa plant - it hardens your enamel and makes them more resistant to acid damage.

We use both as Fluoride alternatives because they helps remineralise enamel, strengthen teeth and reduce sensitivity. There’s growing research supporting their role in cavity prevention and enamel repair, which is why we felt confident including it in our formula.

What is Arginine and why is it good for sensitive teeth?

Arginine is a natural amino acid produced by the human body and found in protein-rich foods. Arginine helps physically seal tiny gaps in teeth, providing fast, long-lasting relief from hypersensitivity.

What ingredients do you avoid in your toothpaste?

We leave out a long list of ingredients that are commonly found in conventional toothpastes. That's because these ingredients, even in small amounts, can be irritating for most mouths - especially if you're prone to ulcers or sensitivity. So, we choose gentler alternatives instead.

As with all our products, we formulate with family and friends in mind. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we don’t use it in our toothpaste. Below is a list of ingredients that you won't find in our Moothpaste range:

Why doesn’t your toothpaste foam as much as others?

Foam usually comes from SLS. Since we don’t use it, you’ll notice less lather.

Natural cleansers don’t create big, long lasting foam the way synthetic detergents do. But foam does not equal clean. It’s your brushing technique and the ingredients doing the hard work.

Most customers adjust quickly and find their mouth still feels fresh and clean, just without the bubble bath effect.

Is your toothpaste as effective as Fluoride toothpaste?

Things have come a long way since the days of Fluoride! For those choosing to avoid Fluoride, Calcium Hydroxyapatite and Theobromine offer a science-backed alternative to support enamel strength and cavity prevention. Hydroxyapatite has been proven to be just as effective as Fluoride too.

However, everyone’s oral health needs are different. If you’re at high risk of cavities or have specific dental concerns, we always recommend speaking with your dentist about what’s best for you.

Why doesn’t it taste as strong or minty as other brands?

Many conventional toothpastes use intense artificial mint flavours that create that powerful minty blast.

We use natural Peppermint Oil or light Natural Flavours instead, which gives a fresh, clean flavour without being overpowering. It’s a little gentler, which many adults and kids prefer, especially if they find strong mint uncomfortable.

Is your Hydroxyapatite vegan and non GMO?

Yes! All of our Moothpaste formulas are vegan friendly and made without genetically modified ingredients.

Is Moothpaste safe for children?

Of course, the whole family can use it!

Because it’s Fluoride free and made with gentle ingredients, many parents choose it for their children. As with any toothpaste, we recommend supervising brushing and using only a small pea sized amount.

Is it safe if swallowed?

While toothpaste isn’t meant to be eaten, our formula is made with gentle, edible ingredients. Accidental small amounts during brushing are not a concern. That said, we still recommend encouraging children to spit where possible.

Can Moothpaste be used on dentures?

Yes, it’s gentle enough to clean dentures thanks to its mild cleansers and low abrasive ingredients.

However, because it contains mild abrasives like Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarb, it may cause fine scratches on softer denture materials over long term use. If you have delicate dentures, a denture specific toothpaste with RDA testing may be more suitable. When in doubt, check with your dental professional.
