This gentle, natural Dental Care Duo is made for mouths that prefer the clean without the sting. Our Moothpaste and Moothwash are packed with ingredients that support strong teeth, fresh breath and healthy gums, without any harsh chemicals, burning sensations or synthetic additives. We use Hydroxyapatite to remineralise teeth, filling in cracks and preventing tooth decay.

How does mouthwash actually clean my mouth?

Instead of harsh ingredients like SLS or SLES, we use Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate – a naturally derived, non-irritating cleanser that helps lift away food particles and plaque while being kind to your mouth.

Can kids use this?

Absolutely. Our Dental Care Duo is family-friendly and safe for all ages. It’s Alcohol-free, Fluoride-free and made without synthetic nasties - so you don’t need to worry if the little ones want to give it a go.

Will either sting or burn like other dental products?

Nope! Our formulas are designed to be kind to sensitive mouths. No harsh burn, just a clean, fresh feeling.

P.S. If you haven’t used a mouthwash in a while, it might feel extra zingy the first couple of times. Don’t worry, that settles quickly!

How do you use the mouthwash bottle?

Moothwash comes in a smart, hygienic bottle that makes dosing easy and mess-free, whilst preventing backwash. Just give it a gentle squeeze and the mouthwash rises into a separate measuring cup at the top - ready for a quick swig.

What is Calcium Hydroxyapatite?

Embraced for its superior bioavailability, Calcium Hydroxyapatite enriches toothpaste formulations, promoting remineralisation and strengthening enamel. When looking to formulate a toothpaste with an alternative to Fluoride, the science behind this ingredient left us without doubt. With a track record in preventing cavities and enhancing overall dental resilience, Calcium Hydroxyapatite stands as a champion ingredient in toothpaste formulations.

What does it taste like?

Moothwash features a light, refreshing blend of peppermint and spearmint, balanced with Xylitol, Sorbitol and Glycerin - natural sweeteners that also help keep your mouth moisturised and comfortable (especially helpful for dry mouth sufferers). Moothpaste shares the same fresh feel, but with a peppermint-only flavour.

Is your Hydroxyapatite Vegan and non-GMO?

Yes, our Moothpaste formula is Vegan and non-GMO.

How long do I swish and gargle for?

About 30 seconds should do the trick, but feel free to go longer if you prefer.

Is it safe to swallow accidentally?

If you or your kids accidentally swallow a small amount, it’s not harmful. Our natural formulas are free from Fluoride, Alcohol and synthetic preservatives. At worst, there might be a bit of a tummy grumble, but we recommend spitting it out as intended.

Can I use this if I have sensitive gums or a dry mouth?

You sure can! Our Dental range was made with sensitive mouths in mind! It’s Alcohol-free, pH-balanced and includes ingredients like Glycerin and Xylitol, which help soothe and moisturise.

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Yes – both formulas are safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but as always, if you have any specific concerns, have a chat with your healthcare provider.

Why doesn’t your toothpaste foam as much as the other brands I’m used to?

For those new to natural toothpaste, you may find it a little different to the main commercial brands. Just like shampoo and wash products, toothpaste often contains Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Natural cleansers don’t hold their foam as long as synthetic detergents like SLS, but we think they're superior and much better for you and the environment. Considering how much toothpaste we swallow, and children often swallowing it all, we think this small compromise is worth it. This just means a little bit more elbow grease needed to get the foam going, but all that brushing will actually leave you with cleaner teeth.

Why doesn’t your toothpaste taste as minty as the other brands I’m used to?

Many people seem to be, dare we say addicted, to the strong, artificial minty flavour burst of commercial toothpastes. We trialled so many formulas to try to replicate this as best we could with natural ingredients, and we think we come pretty darn close.

Can Moothpaste be used on dentures?

Absolutely. Our formula is gentle enough for cleaning dentures, thanks to its mild cleansers and low-abrasive ingredients. However, Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarb, which we use as mild abrasives, may cause tiny scratches on softer dentures over time. It's really up to you! If you're unsure, we always recommend using a denture-specific toothpaste with RDA testing for the best results. But overall, it's safe to use.
