This gentle, natural Dental Care Duo is made for mouths that prefer the clean without the sting. Our Peppermint Moothpaste and Moothwash are packed with ingredients that support strong teeth, fresh breath and healthy gums, without any harsh chemicals, burning sensations or synthetic additives. We use Hydroxyapatite and Theobromine to remineralise teeth, filling in cracks and preventing tooth decay.

How does mouthwash actually clean my mouth?

Instead of harsh ingredients like SLS or SLES, we use Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate – a naturally derived, non-irritating cleanser that helps lift away food particles and plaque while being kind to your mouth.

Can kids use this?

Absolutely. Our Dental Care Duo is family-friendly and safe for all ages. It’s Alcohol-free, Fluoride-free and made without synthetic nasties - so you don’t need to worry if the little ones want to give it a go.

Will either sting or burn like other dental products?

Nope! Our formulas are designed to be kind to sensitive mouths. No harsh burn, just a clean, fresh feeling.

P.S. If you haven’t used a mouthwash in a while, it might feel extra zingy the first couple of times. Don’t worry, that settles quickly!

How do you use the mouthwash bottle?

Moothwash comes in a smart, hygienic bottle that makes dosing easy and mess-free, whilst preventing backwash. Just give it a gentle squeeze and the mouthwash rises into a separate measuring cup at the top - ready for a quick swig.

What does it taste like?

Moothwash features a light, refreshing blend of peppermint and spearmint, balanced with Xylitol, Sorbitol and Glycerin - natural sweeteners that also help keep your mouth moisturised and comfortable (especially helpful for dry mouth sufferers). Our Peppermint Moothpaste shares the same fresh feel, but with a peppermint-only flavour.

How long do I swish and gargle for?

About 30 seconds should do the trick, but feel free to go longer if you prefer.

Can I use this if I have sensitive gums or a dry mouth?

You sure can! Our Dental range was made with sensitive mouths in mind! It’s Alcohol-free, pH-balanced and includes ingredients like Glycerin and Xylitol, which help soothe and moisturise.

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Yes – both formulas are safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but as always, if you have any specific concerns, have a chat with your healthcare provider.

Can Moothpaste help with sensitive teeth?

Yes. Calcium Hydroxyapatite helps strengthen and remineralise enamel, which can reduce tooth sensitivity over time.

Though if you experience extra sensitive teeth, our NEW Sensitive Moothpaste would be a great option. Sensitive Moothpaste shares the same base formula as original Moothpaste, but with Arginine to seal tiny gaps in teeth.

What is Hydroxyapatite and Theobromine, and why do you use them?

Hydroxyapatite is the main mineral that makes up your tooth enamel. In other words, it’s not foreign to your body, it’s already part of your teeth. Theobromine is naturally derived from the cocoa plant - it hardens your enamel and makes them more resistant to acid damage.

We use both as Fluoride alternatives because they helps remineralise enamel, strengthen teeth and reduce sensitivity. There’s growing research supporting their role in cavity prevention and enamel repair, which is why we felt confident including it in our formula.

For customers looking for a Fluoride-free option that still supports strong teeth, these ingredients are the real hero.

What ingredients do you avoid in your toothpaste?

We leave out a long list of ingredients that are commonly found in conventional toothpastes. That's because these ingredients, even in small amounts, can be irritating for most mouths - especially if you're prone to ulcers or sensitivity. So, we choose gentler alternatives instead.

As with all our products, we formulate with family and friends in mind. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we don’t use it in our toothpaste. Below is a list of ingredients that you won't find in our Moothpaste range:

Why doesn’t your toothpaste foam as much as others?

Foam usually comes from SLS. Since we don’t use it, you’ll notice less lather.

Natural cleansers don’t create big, long lasting foam the way synthetic detergents do. But foam does not equal clean. It’s your brushing technique and the ingredients doing the hard work.

Most customers adjust quickly and find their mouth still feels fresh and clean, just without the bubble bath effect.

Is your toothpaste as effective as Fluoride toothpaste?

Things have come a long way since the days of Fluoride! For those choosing to avoid Fluoride, Calcium Hydroxyapatite and Theobromine offer a science-backed alternative to support enamel strength and cavity prevention. Hydroxyapatite has been proven to be just as effective as Fluoride too.

However, everyone’s oral health needs are different. If you’re at high risk of cavities or have specific dental concerns, we always recommend speaking with your dentist about what’s best for you.

Why doesn’t it taste as strong or minty as other brands?

Many conventional toothpastes use intense artificial mint flavours that create that powerful minty blast.

We use natural Peppermint Oil instead, which gives a fresh, clean flavour without being overpowering. It’s a little gentler, which many adults and kids prefer, especially if they find strong mint uncomfortable.

Is your Hydroxyapatite vegan and non GMO?

Yes! All of our Moothpaste formulas are vegan friendly and made without genetically modified ingredients.

Is Moothpaste safe for children?

Of course, the whole family can use it!

Because it’s Fluoride free and made with gentle ingredients, many parents choose it for their children. As with any toothpaste, we recommend supervising brushing and using only a small pea sized amount.

Is it safe if swallowed?

While toothpaste isn’t meant to be eaten, our formula is made with gentle, edible ingredients. Accidental small amounts during brushing are not a concern. That said, we still recommend encouraging children to spit where possible.

Can Moothpaste be used on dentures?

Yes, it’s gentle enough to clean dentures thanks to its mild cleansers and low abrasive ingredients.

However, because it contains mild abrasives like Calcium Carbonate and Sodium Bicarb, it may cause fine scratches on softer denture materials over long term use. If you have delicate dentures, a denture specific toothpaste with RDA testing may be more suitable. When in doubt, check with your dental professional.
