How do I use the products in this bundle?

Every skin type is different, but for best results, we recommend our Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser, Amplified Anti-Ageing Peptide Active Serum and Antioxidant Anti-Ageing Face Cream in the morning. Please follow with an SPF in the morning

In the evenings, use Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser, Amplified Anti-Ageing Peptide Active Serum followed by the Night Restoration Cream.

Why do you recommend applying SPF?

We always recommend applying an SPF every single day to protect your skin from UV rays. Active ingredients can increase your skins sensitivity to sunlight. So, as this bundle contains products with active ingredients like Vitamin C and Lactic Acid, please wear an SPF as the last step in your morning skincare routine! If your skins sensitivity to sunlight is increased, you're at high risk for sun burn, sun damage, premature ageing and skin cancer.

How do antioxidants work?

Happy you asked! One part of ageing is caused by “free radical damage”. Free radicals are molecules that have become short of an electron. To become stable, free radicals seek out other molecules and can take an electron from them. This can cause cell damage leading to skin ageing, among other things. Supplying antioxidants to the skin helps mop up these pesky free radicals so they leave your cells alone. The difficult part is to ensure that the antioxidants get deep enough into the skin to function. That’s why we choose the ones we use as they are known to be able to penetrate into the skin and get to work.

My cream isn’t white. Does this mean it’s gone bad?

Since we use natural ingredients in our products, you may sometimes notice a change in colour to your cream, particularly this one. A change in colour is normal and should be expected since we don’t use any bleaching agents to keep the cream bright white. Natural ingredients are also often rich in colour and can change the colour of a cream after it's mixed in. Don’t be surprised if this cream changes to a light tan colour over time. It’s not a bad thing.

'Fragrance' is listed as one of the ingredients in this product. What does this mean?

When we first started making products, we used a blend of essentials oils to give them a lovely fragrance. But many people have severe reactions and allergies to them, even in small amounts. As a result, and because we make products for people with sensitive skin, we took them out of most products. Instead, we helped to develop a special kind of fragrant oil, whereby each component in it is less than the EU allergy threshold. This is how we can have a pleasant-smelling product without the reactions. The scents we use are proprietary blends from the company we get them from, and we’ve had no reactions since we made the switch. Also, of course, it is free from phthalates, which is the main concern in fragrances.

Why does my bottle no longer have a straw?

For a better user experience, and to get the absolute most of your MooGoo ‘goo-dness out of the bottle, we’ve taken on our customer feedback and have launched a new and improved Airless pump bottle for our 75g Face Creams range, and Argireline® Serum. On first use, make sure the product top is on tight and keep pumping until you get product. So, what actually is an airless pump bottle? Unlike jars and bottles with an internal straw, an airless pump bottle works on a vacuum. As you pump the product, a disk at the bottom of the bottle slowly moves up (the vacuum effect) allowing the cream to stay in contact with the mechanism ‘airless’. If you have any further troubles, please contact our friendly customer service team for assistance.

What time of the day should I apply Amplified Anti-Ageing Peptide Active Serum with Argireline® 25ml?

For best results, apply morning and night after cleansing, and before applying a moisturiser.

How does Argireline® Amplified Peptide affect facial muscles / expressions?

The Argireline® Amplified Peptide works by weakening the neurotransmitters between the skin and facial muscles, which means the skin is less impacted by your natural expressions. As a result, when you smile (or frown – hopefully not too often!) the skin will crease less, which means less opportunity for permanent creases to form. This also improves the appearance of current expression lines as they will crease less deeply during facial movement and therefore not appear as severe. Over time the added benefits of this serum such as stimulating collagen will also help to ‘plump out’ fine lines and improve overall youthfulness of the skin.

Are your cleansers safe for lash extensions?

The Creamy Hydrating Face Cleanser is great for lash extensions. It has the same irritation score as water and uses a combination of gentle natural cleansers. Oils can break down the glue used, so steer clear of any oil-based cleansers like our Nourishing Deep Pore Oil Cleanser on the eye area whilst you’ve got lashes on.
