Anti-Ageing Face Cream 75g
It is possible to help your skin remain young looking? The best methods do not involve creams that temporally plump out lines or creams that temporarily tighten the skin. In fact long term use of these creams may be detrimental. The best way to keep your skin looking young is to moisturise using creams high in anti-oxidants, maintain a healthy lifestyle without smoking, and to minimize sun exposure to healthy levels.

We believe moist, supple skin that is supplied with lots of anti-oxidants is much healthier than skin subjected to acids, temporary plumping agents and chemical line fillers. Our anti-ageing cream is designed to provide healthy ingredients to maintain youthful skin, not short term miracles that might cause damage longer term.

Our Anti-Ageing Cream takes a two step approach to anti-ageing:

  1. Provide the Oil Balance of Young Skin. Moist and supple skin resists forming lines. The main base of the cream is made from Olive Squalene. Squalene is one of the major components of the skin's own oil (sebum). After our early 20's, or skin starts producing less Squalene. Our Anti-Ageing Cream "tops" up the skin's Squalene to maintain the oil balance of young skin. This helps resists lines forming.
  2. Supply Anti-Oxidants to the Skin. Many would ask 'Why the fuss about anti-oxidants"?

One part of ageing is caused by "free radical damage". Free radicals are molecules that have become short of an electron. To become stable, free radicals seek out other molecules and can take an electron from them. This can cause cell damage leading to skin ageing, amongst other things. Supplying anti-oxidants to the skin helps mop up these freed radicals. The difficult part is to ensure that the ingredients get deep enough to function.

The star anti-oxidants for this cream are Resveratrol and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, both included at the maximum suggested percentage by the supplier. Each are some of most effective and expensive anti-ageing actives available. It is especially effective at preventing and reversing sun damage and results should be seen over the course of a month.

We cannot say too much here, so we encourage everyone to look at the peer-reviewed studies being done on Resveratrol and its protective effects. You can find these studies do by going to www.scholar.google.com and searching under "Resveratrol Skin". This way you have access to the latest science journal information, not the cosmetic companies hype. It can be difficult to understand, but basically it is an important new development for skin that has had sun exposure.

We use the highest quality micronised Resveratrol of 1um size for best absorption and almost 100% purity. We developed (after 6 months of failures) a unique system of ensuring that the concentration we needed stayed stable in the cream. The difficulty of this ingredient is that in good concentrations it tends to make creams unstable. Rather than reduce the concentration, we changed the way we incorporate it within the cream so that we have probably a higher concentration of Resveratrol than any other cream. You will notice this new cream a little thicker as Resveratrol arrives as a very fine powder.

Price. The ingredients for this cream are amoung the most expensive ingredients of any anti-ageing product sold at any price. We have seen creams with similiar quality ingredients retail for more than $250. This is because few consumers are cosmetic chemists, and so are not aware of what makes a good anti-ageing product, and must rely on price and advertising as the only indicator. If you have time to do some research, we believe you will find this to be one of the best possible anti-ageing formulas available, and without the chemicals normally used to fragrance, preserve and add a pleasant skin feel (silicone) in most commercial creams.

If you currently use anti-ageing treatments such as Alpha Hydroxy Acid, we strongly suggest not using any skin product in combination with these ingredients due to possible reactions with their acids, or contact the manufacturer of your product for more guidance.

Ingredient Description
Aqua (H2O's Fancy Name) When we were told that we have to call our purified water “Aqua” we thought they were kidding, but we can’t fight bureaucracy. We aren’t trying to be fancy, but we do need to call our water “Aqua” sometimes. If we used only oils and actives, the cream would feel hot on the skin as the oils coat the skin and it becomes an occlusive. By making this cream with water, the cream penetrates the skin better which is more moisturising, soothing and cooling
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera) Aloe Vera is a flowering succulent plant that stores water in enlarged fleshy leaves, stems, or roots. The leaf juice contains many minerals vital to the growth process and healthy function of all the body's systems, and particularly known for its healing and soothing benefits (including skin and oral health!).
Cetearyl Alcohol (Plant Based Emulsifying Wax) Cetearyl alcohol is a Plant-Based Emulsifying Wax emulsified, stabilised and produced from the reduction of plant oils and natural waxes. It’s used for combining oil and water.
Squalane (Olive) Olive squalane is produced from olives. Squalane enhances skin elasticity and moisture retention. It is also a unique antioxidant that protects our skin from free-radical damages. Olive squalane's composition is very similar to human sebum (oil) and can penetrate our skin very quickly to help our skin to fight dryness. Squalane is not to be confused with squalene, which is a form of shark liver oil and tends to quickly oxidize when exposed to the air.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil Olive oil is derived from the ripe olive fruit. It’s packed with antioxidants and has a balanced fatty acid composition which restores moisture and nourishment to compromised skin. Olive oil is a great addition to natural and edible skincare.
Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Seed Oil Apricot Seed Oil is a finely textured oil, easily absorbed by the skin without leaving it feeling oily or greasy. It is particularly helpful for dehydrated, delicate, mature and sensitive skin and helps to soothe inflammation. Apricot Seed Oil is rich in oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil Rice Bran Oil is extracted from the outer layer of rice. Rich in anti-oxidants, it is also a skin protectant, rich in gamma-oryzanol helping to replenish your skin. Rice Bran Oil can be an effective substitute for lanolin and can help soothe discomfort. It's a wonderful oil for itchy "alligator" skin.
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil Grape Seed Oil is a lightly textured oil, excellent for moisturising the skin. It is very high in antioxidants and contains high amounts of vitamin E, vitamin C, Beta-Carotene, and vitamin D.
Dimethyl Sulfone (MSM Organic Sulphur) MSM is an Organic Sulphur compound which is present in every cell of the body. MSM has been proven to be a great skin softener and soothing compound for irritated skin.  Often used in many anti-ageing cosmetic applications. It is non-toxic and promotes healthy skin for all types.
Caprylic Capric Triglyceride (Fractioned Coconut Oil) Fractionated Coconut Oil is a blend of coconut oil and glycerine. It’s considered an excellent emollient and skin-replenishing ingredient as well as being a great natural stabiliser.
Hydrolysed Milk Protein (For Skin Elasticity) Hydrolysed Milk Protein is one of the most nutrient rich proteins due to its complete amino acid content. Studies have found that milk protein in a cream increased skin elasticity by around 20% compared to the same cream without. Skin elasticity ensures lines and wrinkles are minimised after any movement of the skin. For people with Lactose intolerance this is no problem, however for people that are allergic to Milk Protein itself, this ingredient would not be suitable.
Allantoin (Comfrey Root Extract) Comfrey Root has long been associated with soft, healthy skin. Allantoin is a skin conditioner that has been purified from comfrey. A soothing and non-irritating ingredient, Allantoin is thought to help maintain healthy skin by encouraging the removal of dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of healthy skin tissue.
Piroctone Olamine (Olamine Salt) Piroctone Olamine is an organic compound. It is a non-irritating anti-yeast ingredient which helps keep the cream free from bacteria and mould
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Oil-Soluble Vitamin C) Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is an oil-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It’s a powerful antioxidant that slows the rate of free-radical damage (free radicals are unstable molecules that damage collagen and cause skin dryness, fine lines and wrinkles.) Studies have shown Vitamin C to stimulate collagen production as well as tone and brighten the skin by inhibiting melanogenesis (the production of pigment) thereby promoting a more even skin tone. This form of Vitamin C is absorbed by the skin very easily and is well tolerated by even the most sensitive skin types.
Polygonum Cuspidatum (Japanese Knotweed – Resveratrol) Japanese Knotweed is an excellent source of Resveratrol. Resveratrol is an effective anti-oxidant which may be an important additive to skin products to reduce the risks of skin cancer, and help prevent the skins natural sebum from oxidising.
Glyceryl Caprylate (Emollient) Glyceryl Caprylate is an emollient, which has an excellent efficacy against bacteria and yeast and as such makes a great natural preservative for skin care.
Vanilla Plantifolia (Vanilla) Fruit Extract Vanilla extract is used primarily as a sweet fragrance. Vanilla has some antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and skin firming properties. We use hops to preserve our cream and Vanilla combines well with the hops and other fruit extracts to keep our creams smelling nice.
Pyrus Communis (Pear) Extract We've learned over the years that although Essential Oils can be great for some people, some are highly sensitive to them. For this reason, we tend to avoid them in our creams. We still want them to smell nice, so we've added a Pear extract which blends with the ingredients to smell great!
Pyrus Malus (Apple) Extract Pyrus Malus (Apple) Extract contains a high level of Vitamin C, and a wide array of beneficial trace minerals. It also does smell amazing, so we put in some of our creams as it combines well with the Hops Extract (our natural preservative).
Citric Acid (Natural Preservative) Citric Acid is a weak fruit acid used as a fruit based pH Balancer, and a natural preservative.
Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E) Natural Vitamin E can be sourced from a variety of plants and seeds, as they are common natural compounds. It has up to twice the bioavailability of synthetic forms. Vitamin E has antioxidant action as well as free radical scavenger properties, and in-depth studies from diversified medical fields have shown that this can slow the aging process. We use the more expensive, natural Vitamin E in our creams, not synthetic.
Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract Skin Care needs to stay pure from yeast and mould. That is why ingredients like Parabens etc are used by a lot of companies. These work great at achieving their aim, but a lot of our “customers”prefer products without parabens.  We worked for over a year to develop a preservation system based on Hops Extract. All our creams have now been checked for preservative efficacy using the British Pharmacopeia test. We are very proud that we are probably one of the first companies to develop this natural and edible anti-bacterial system into our creams.

One of my wonderful friends gave me a hamper this Christmas with MooGoo Udder Cream and a cake of soap, she purchased these from a little store in Balhanna in the Adelaide Hills, she knew nothing about the product however because I live on a farm the Cow pictures sold her, since using these products I have not had a spot of eczema since.

I searched our town Mount Gambier to stock up when I started getting low & couldnt find it anywhere our town motto is to 'Shop Local First', I went online to order more and I was so happy with how quickly I received my package and the wonderful sample enclosed. Keep up the fantastic customer service and products, finally no hidden chemicals or cortisone creams ...... I am what you would say an accidental over the moon happy client who will be letting everyone know of your product. Thank you very much.

Carolyn, SA

I have worked in the health and beauty industry for 12 years (health stores, pharmacies and department stores) and am obsessed with everything to do with skin. I've recently been reading a lot of studies on reservatrol and how great it is for the skin but thus far have only found it in supplements . . . .i am beside myself with excitement that your anti ageing cream has this amazing ingredient!

So you can imagine my disappointment when i went to my local supplier to discover the only stock they had on the shelf was the pre reservatrol kind. Is the new stock in circulation? I'm very keen to get my hands on some!

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Stacey
