Instead, we combined naturally derived ingredients with a dual anti-fungal formula to cleanse, rebalance and soothe your scalp, without stripping your hair. The result? Less flakes, less itch and healthy hair.

Cooling Menthol calms itch and irritation instantly with a refreshing, soothing sensation. Vitamin B12 helps revitalise hair and calm the scalp while our dual anti-fungal formula combats the yeast linked to Dandruff and Seborrheic Dermatitis.

For best results, we recommend pairing with our Pink Flake Free Conditioner. Our Flake Free Conditioner is formulated to rehydrate the scalp barrier after cleansing, helping to calm irritation, reduce that tight uncomfortable feeling and keep the scalp environment healthy so flakes are less likely to return.

Wet hair thoroughly, massage 1-3 pumps into the scalp and rinse. For a deeper clean, shampoo twice. Follow with our Anti-Dandruff Conditioner on the scalp and ends for optimal results and less flakes.

So if you're looking for something stronger to manage flakes, Flake Free Shampoo is the answer - but still made with the same gentle philosophy we swear by.

That refreshing, cooling sensation you feel? That’s Menthol doing its thing! We’ve added it to our Flake Free Duo to help soothe itchiness and irritation while giving your scalp a little extra love.

Menthol works by calming the scalp’s nerve endings, which can reduce the urge to scratch - especially helpful for those dealing with Dandruff, Eczema, Psoriasis or Dermatitis. It also promotes better circulation, which can support overall scalp health. Plus, it just feels nice, especially on a dry, irritated scalp!

What makes Pink Flake Free Shampoo, pink?

The Vitamin B12 molecule can be a bit of a chameleon, forming many colourful compounds. When combined with water, it creates a delightful pink hue. How’s that for some colourful chemistry?

Will the shampoo stain the skin, scalp or hair?

Of course not. While the shampoo’s pink colour may raise some eyebrows and scepticism, we promise it will wash out clear, leaving no colour behind.

Is the new Anti-Dandruff Shampoo fragrance-free?

Yes! Our new Flake Free Anti-Dandruff range is fragrance-free, making it perfect for sensitive scalps or anyone looking for a gentle, no-fuss solution to Dandruff.

Although, you may notice a naturally minty scent from the Menthol.

Does your shampoo strip colour?

When researching shampoos, we learned a lot along the way. "Colour-lock" shampoos are simply SLS-free and pH-balanced to avoid stripping colour. Alkaline hair products open the hair cuticle, which can cause colour to fade and leave hair feeling overly “squeaky clean."

Our Milk Shampoo and Anti-Dandruff Shampoo are already SLS-free, Sulphate-free and slightly acidic, making it naturally colour-friendly - though we don’t think “colour-lock” is the best way to describe it. The same goes for "damaged hair" shampoos, which are often just lower in sulphates. We’ve had that covered from the start!

Will you ever bring out a shampoo bar?

We love the idea of using less plastic, but when it comes to shampoo bars, they just don’t align with our ingredient philosophy. Most natural shampoo bars are alkaline, which means they open up the hair cuticle and leave hair feeling squeaky clean, but not in a good way.

Over time, this can lead to dryness and colour fading, which isn’t exactly our cup of tea. So, while we’re all for eco-friendly choices, we’ll stick to making gentle, scalp-loving liquid shampoos that keep both your hair and the planet happy!

I have dry / oily hair. Do you have a shampoo for that?

Shampoos for oily hair typically have a higher concentration of cleansers than those for dry hair - simply because more grease needs to go! But here’s the thing: you can achieve the same result just by adjusting how much shampoo you use. Need a deeper clean? Use a little more. Just a light refresh? Use a little less. It’s all about what works for your hair, not just what’s on the packaging!

Is this product made of milk?

We aren’t called MooGoo because our products are made with milk. If you think about it, putting any meaningful amount of fresh milk into a hair care product and then putting it on a shelf in a store for a while would not end well – yuck! We do use ethically and sustainably sourced Milk Protein from a credible Australian supplier in our hair care products because research has found that it helps to protect hair fibres and revitalise hair's natural protective layer.
