We’ve ditched the harsh stuff (no SLS, SLES, or Silicones) and packed this shampoo with scalp-loving, naturally derived cleansers that clean without stripping. Our formula helps rebalance moisture levels, reduce irritation, and calm inflammation. The result? Less flakes, less itch, and stronger, healthier hair.

How to use? Wet hair, massage 1–3 pumps into your scalp and rinse. Double shampoo if needed for a deeper cleanse. For best results, follow with our Anti-Dandruff Conditioner.

How is Flake-Free different to your normal Milk Shampoo?

Our Milk Shampoo is designed to be a well-rounded, all-purpose formula that works for all hair and scalp types, and we think it’s pretty darn good at it!

But when it comes to tackling awkward flakes and that dreaded itch, we know some need a little more oomph. That’s why we went back to the lab and crafted our Flake-Free Shampoo. We added Menthol for a cooling, soothing effect and combined it with scalp-loving ingredients to help ease irritation and restore balance. So if you're looking for something stronger to manage flakes, Flake-Free Shampoo is the answer - but still made with the same gentle philosophy we swear by.

I feel a cooling sensation. What is that?

That refreshing, cooling sensation you feel? That’s Menthol doing its thing! We’ve added it to our Anti-Dandruff Shampoo & Conditioner to help soothe itchiness and irritation while giving your scalp a little extra TLC.

Menthol works by calming the scalp’s nerve endings, which can reduce the urge to scratch - especially helpful for those dealing with Dandruff, Psoriasis or Dermatitis. It also promotes better circulation, which can support overall scalp health. Plus, it just feels nice, especially on a dry, irritated scalp!

Is the new Anti-Dandruff Shampoo fragrance-free?

Yes! Our new Flake-Free Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner are both fragrance-free, making them perfect for sensitive scalps or anyone looking for a gentle, no-fuss solution to Dandruff.

Does your shampoo strip colour?

When researching shampoos, we learned a lot along the way. "Colour-lock" shampoos are simply SLS-free and pH-balanced to avoid stripping colour. Alkaline hair products open the hair cuticle, which can cause colour to fade and leave hair feeling overly “squeaky clean."

Our Milk Shampoo and Anti-Dandruff Shampoo are already SLS-free, Sulphate-free, and slightly acidic, making it naturally colour-friendly - though we don’t think “colour-lock” is the best way to describe it. The same goes for "damaged hair" shampoos, which are often just lower in sulphates. We’ve had that covered from the start!

Will you ever bring out a shampoo bar?

We love the idea of using less plastic, but when it comes to shampoo bars, they just don’t align with our ingredient philosophy. Most natural shampoo bars are alkaline, which means they open up the hair cuticle and leave hair feeling squeaky clean, but not in a good way. Over time, this can lead to dryness and colour fading, which isn’t exactly our cup of tea. So, while we’re all for eco-friendly choices, we’ll stick to making gentle, scalp-loving liquid shampoos that keep both your hair and the planet happy!

I have dry / oily hair. Do you have a shampoo for that?

Shampoos for oily hair typically have a higher concentration of cleansers than those for dry hair - simply because more grease needs to go! But here’s the thing: you can achieve the same result just by adjusting how much shampoo you use. Need a deeper clean? Use a little more. Just a light refresh? Use a little less. It’s all about what works for your hair, not just what’s on the packaging!

Is this product made of milk?

We aren’t called MooGoo because our products are made with milk. If you think about it, putting any meaningful amount of fresh milk into a hair care product and then putting it on a shelf in a store for a while would not end well – yuck! We do use ethically and sustainably sourced Milk Protein from a credible Australian supplier in our hair care products because research has found that it helps to protect hair fibres and revitalise hair's natural protective layer.
