Our makeup certainly is nano-free. As you probably know the term nanoparticle is used to refer to a small particle with all three dimensions less than 100 nanometres. The ingredients that are usually in question in relation to Powdered Mineral Foundations are Mica’s, Titanium Dioxides and Zinc Oxides. We choose larger particle sizes in all of these ingredients.

Yes, we stay away from ingredients like Silicone, Talc, Bismuth Oxychloride, Pine Tar and Coal Tar Colours to name a few that are usually what makes skin react. None of these ingredients align with our natural, vegan and edible ingredient philosophy and they are also not good for skin health, especially those with skin troubles and sensitivities. We dedicate our time to researching and sourcing ingredients that are gentle on the skin and deliver the results so our products are suitable for the fussiest and most unpredictable of skin.
