Your guide to the 'no-makeup' look

Your guide to the 'no-makeup' look

No makeup makeup is the ultimate solution for natural-looking dewy skin, bright eyes and flushed cheeks. But while the end result looks pretty minimal, the process to get there requires a bit of work, but trust us, it's worth it! Not sure how to create a no-makeup look? Here, we introduce you to the makeup products and tips you need to get this low-key look.

Step 1 - Moisturise

This is a must if you want to achieve smooth, well-hydrated skin and it's the secret to your foundation looking flawless. Apply one of the MooGoo Face Creams to your skin and then wait at least five minutes before applying your foundation. The moisturiser needs some time to soak in and form a smooth, even surface over your skin.

Step 2 – Flawless Skin

Spend some extra time putting on your Foundation as this is key for natural looking skin. We recommend applying our Earth Cream first to get that dewy look, then seal it in with our Natural Mineral Foundation Powder. You can also dab some of the powder with a small brush on blemishes to quickly cover them up. We suggest not applying too many layers for this look, you want it to be as minimal as possible.

Step 3 – Touch of colour

Add some colour to your face by applying bronzer, and to your cheeks with a pink blush. Application is key with this one so try not to go overboard with the amount of product. Use a fluffy brush to gently swipe the bronzer along your cheekbones and move in a figure of 3 from your forehead to your chin. For the blush, the old trick of sucking in your cheeks so your cheekbones pop out is the best. Then sweep the blush along the top side of it. Make sure not to go too close to your eyes and stay directly on the cheekbone.

Step 4 - Glow

Highlighters have this magic ability to make us look youthful and our skin appear more radiant. Apply highlighter onto the high plains of the face: the "shelf" of the cheekbone, the cupid's bow and the brow bone, and if you want extra glow, add a little above the eyebrows and onto the chin.

Step 5 – Natural Lips

The last step to complete your natural-looking makeup look? Adding a tint of colour to your lips. Remember to always keep your lips hydrated. Pick a pink or nude shade so it looks more natural and effortless.
