Demodetic Rosacea Powder 8g (Class 1 Medical Device)

If you suspect you might have Demodex mites crawling around on your skin, we hope this powder will be able to help you. You can’t see them but you can see their effects. If you’re experiencing itchiness around the eyebrows or face, it may be caused by Demodectic Rosacea.

For some people, the mites can irritate the skin (more particularly the bacteria from their decomposition) and that’s why we searched for a solution that was natural and non-irritating. Most practitioners are now aware of the need to avoid long-term antibiotic use.

Please note that there are many different causes of Rosacea, and this is just one. Based on customer feedback it seems that our powder helps when Rosacea is caused by Demodex Mites. It will not necessarily help with other types of Rosacea and as is often the case, what works for one doesn’t always work for another. Some Rosacea can be caused by Seborrheic Dermatitis (we have our Scalp Cream for this) or other causes. We have more information on types of Rosacea and how to help manage it here.

What other products do you recommend for Rosacea?

For anyone suffering with Rosacea of any kind, we recommend taking care of the skin with gentle, natural products to reduce the chance of increased irritation. For this, we recommend cleansing the skin with our gentle Milk Wash, and moisturising with our calming Soothing MSM Moisturiser.

Some Rosacea can be caused by Seborrheic Dermatitis, for which we recommend our Scalp Cream to be used after cleansing, and before moisturising.
